Helpmates is an AI assistant platform where users chat with standard, VIP, creator-built, school, and organization-trained assistants.
Who owns Helpmates?
Helpmates is powered by Wistech Solutions, a Ghana-based digital transformation and IT solutions company.
Accounts, Credits, and VIP
Do I need an account?
Guests may try limited chats. A customer account is required for saved history, payments, VIP plans, organization access, school access, and creator tools.
How do credits work?
Standard non-VIP chats use credits. Active VIP users can access VIP benefits based on their package. Some institution Helpmates may be sponsored by an organization or school.
Why can I not access a VIP Helpmate?
Your current plan may not include that Helpmate or you may have reached your VIP Helpmate limit. Visit Pricing to upgrade your VIP plan or recharge.
Custom Helpmates
Can I create my own Helpmate?
Approved creators, organizations, and schools can create custom Helpmates. They can add instructions, website sources, documents, and direct knowledgebase notes.
Are custom Helpmates public immediately?
No. Public and institution custom Helpmates require superadmin approval before appearing on the marketplace.
What document types can be uploaded?
Text, markdown, CSV, JSON, HTML, XML, PDFs, Word documents, PowerPoint files, Excel files, images, and general document files can be uploaded. Text-like files are extracted directly; some rich document formats may require additional processing support depending on server capabilities.
Schools and Organizations
What is an institution workspace?
It is a private area where schools and organizations can approve members, manage sponsored quotas, and create custom Helpmates for their community.
Does payment automatically publish a school or organization?
No. Payment confirms onboarding and credits. Superadmin approval controls public visibility.
